Women are the Backbone of Africa’s Progress—Let’s Empower Them!

Did you know that women make up nearly 70% of the healthcare workforce in Africa, yet they remain underrepresented in leadership roles? This International Women’s Day 2025, we took action to change that.

Through our Let’s Connect initiative, we united nurses, pharmacists, and doctors to spark critical conversations about advancing women in healthcare. The response was incredible:

  • 🔹2,000+ people engaged with our awareness videos, amplifying the message of women’s empowerment.

  • 🔹250 future doctors participated in CME sessions on intimate hygiene for pregnant women at the University of Kikwit, DRC.

  • 🔹1,000+ health kits distributed, ensuring women have access to essential healthcare resources.

When women thrive, communities flourish and healthcare becomes truly inclusive. Let’s accelerate action—not just today, but every day.
