• Moxyclav Duo 562.5mg: 4 Tablets • Moxyclav Duo 625mg: 14 Tablets • Moxyclav Duo 1000mg: 10 Tablets

Composition:

  • Moxyclav Duo 562.5: Each film coated tablet contains: Amoxicillin 500mg, Clavulanic Acid 62.5mg
  • Moxyclav Duo 625: Each film coated tablet contains: Amoxicillin 500mg, Clavulanic Acid 125mg
  • Moxyclav Duo 1000: Each film coated tablet contains: Amoxicillin 875mg Clavulanic Acid 125mg

 

Indications:

Amoxicillin-clavulanate is indicated for short term treatment of bacterial infections at the following sites:

  • Lower Respiratory Tract Infections
  • Acute Bacterial Otitis Media
  • Sinusitis
  • Skin and Skin Structure Infections
  • Urinary Tract Infections
  • Bone and joint infections
  • Other Infections e.g., septic abortion, puerperal sepsis, intra-abdominal sepsis

 

Dosage:

Adults: One Moxyclav Duo 562.5 tablet every 12 hours; For more severe infections, one Moxyclav DUO 1000 tablet every 12 hours.

Side Effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The common side effects associated with Moxyclav Duo use are diarrhoea/loose stools, nausea, skin rashes, urticaria, vomiting and vaginitis.
