Polygel is used in the treatment of gastric problems like heartburn and indigestion

120ml, 200ml Bottle

Composition:

Each 5ml of syrup contains · Aluminium hydroxide 250mg, Magnesium hydroxide 250mg, Simethicone 50mg.

Indications:

  • Dyspepsia (indigestion)
  • Esophagitis/Heartburn
  • GI symptoms associated with acid-peptic disorders.
  • Gastritis (swelling in stomach)
  • Peptic ulcer ( Co Rx with Systemic Antacid)

Dosage:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: 2 to 4 teaspoonful (10ml-20ml) three to four times daily after meals
  • Children of 5 to 12 years: Half the adult dose

Side Effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The common side effects associated with Polygel are constipation or diarrhea, muscle cramps, loss of appetite, and headache.
