Amidol Cold and Flu

Amidol contains an analgesic and antipyretic medicine called paracetamol. It is used for the relief of painful conditions like headache, migraine, dental pain, general body pain, low back pain, fracture pain, pain and fever associated with infective conditions like common cold and flu.

100ml Bottle, 4 Tablets

Composition:

Syrup: Each 5ml of syrup contains Chlorphenamine Maleate BP 1mg, Paracetamol BP 125mg, and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride BP 2.5mg

Tablet: Each uncoated tablet contains Chlorphenamine Maleate BP 2mg, Paracetamol BP 500mg, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride BP 5mg and Caffeine BP 30mg

Indications:

Mild to moderate pain and fever associated with colds and flu

Dosage:

Children 5 to 12 years – 10ml to be given every 4 hours with maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours unless directed by physician. Do not give for more than 5 days unless directed by physician. Not recommended for children under 5 years of age.

The usual recommended dose in adults is 1 tablet to be taken 3 or 4 times a day or as directed by physicians.
