Acting Against Hypertension: Shalina Healthcare’s Commitment to Healthier Lives

As we observe World Hypertension Day, it’s concerning to note that hypertension rates are on the rise in Sub-Saharan Africa, affecting approximately 27% of adults in the region.

Access to quality, affordable medication is critical, yet only 14% of hypertensive individuals in Africa have their blood pressure under control.

We’re committed to addressing this challenge by not only providing quality medicine at affordable price to all but also doing beyond the pill initiatives. These initiatives include raising awareness, promoting early detection, and ensuring adherence to therapy.

Through patient education initiatives, including awareness campaigns and diagnostic camps, we aim to empower individuals to take control of their health. Additionally, we conduct workshops and knowledge platforms for healthcare professionals to enhance their skills in hypertension management.

Together, let’s prioritize regular blood pressure monitoring, adherence to treatment, and a healthy lifestyle. We believe that Measure, Control, and Live Longer is not just a slogan, but a commitment to improving the health and well-being of all.
