Under Shalina Nigeria’s Antibiotic Stewardship Program, we hosted another session on De-escalation Therapy, led by Dr. S. A. Sani, Associate Professor of Surgery and Consultant General Surgeon. The session brought together 80 doctors from 16 healthcare institutions to discuss real clinical decisions around hospital-acquired infections, rational antibiotic use, and when stepping down therapy is the stronger choice.
