As part of our 40th-anniversary celebrations, we launched impactful initiatives in Kenya, focusing on sustainability and community well-being.
In collaboration with Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), East Africa’s largest hospital, we planted trees to promote a greener, healthier future. Led by Vikas Khandelwal, VP & Head – East Africa, this initiative was met with enthusiasm from KNH management, paving the way for more healthcare collaborations.
Partnering with the Kenya Red Cross Society, Kenya Tissue and Transplant Authority, and Damu Ke, we hosted a blood donation camp at Shalina House, collecting over 53 pints of blood from our Shalinknights and the Baba Dogo community—potentially saving more than 150 lives.
We also held a team-building and fun day event for our employees, strengthening bonds within the Shalina family.
As we celebrate 40 years, our commitment to building healthier communities across Africa continues to grow.
