Our Shalina Healthcare Zambia team recently hosted a Mother’s Meet bringing together postnatal mothers and mothers in Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) for a warm, interactive health education session.
At the heart of the conversation was breastfeeding — its benefits, and practical guidance on positioning, attachment and technique to help mothers confidently nourish their babies through those crucial early months.
We also spoke about feeding support in special circumstances — for mothers unable to express sufficient breast milk or working mothers who need extra support.
