Success is Worth Celebrating. Leadership is Worth Investing in.

Forty-five of our senior leaders from across Africa and around the world came together in South Africa for our Leadership Summit—to celebrate our achievements, align on our priorities, and prepare for the opportunities ahead.

The summit wasn’t just about reviewing performance. It was about investing in the people who will shape Shalina Healthcare’s future. Through masterclasses covering AI, digital transformation, marketing, commercial excellence and leadership, we challenged our thinking, shared ideas, and strengthened the capabilities needed for our next stage of growth.

As Abbas Virji, MD, Shalina Healthcare, reminded us:
“𝑆𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝑏𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑏𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑏𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑎𝑐𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑠 𝐴𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑎.”

That impact starts with our people. At Shalina, we believe in 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲. When we invest in each other’s growth, challenge one another to be better, and work together as one team, we build stronger leaders, stronger businesses, and stronger communities.

As our Group CEO, Shalina Clifford, shared:
“𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝑖𝑠 𝑎 𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑙𝑠𝑜 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦. 𝑂𝑢𝑟 𝑟𝑜𝑙𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑜𝑤𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝, 𝑒𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑤. 𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑠𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑒𝑑, 𝑆ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑎 𝑠𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑠—𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟, 𝑤𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑎𝑛 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑤𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒.”

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Leadership Summit such a success. We leave inspired, aligned and ready for the year ahead.
