Prazole Injection

Pack Size:

A vial containing Omeprazole powder+10ml ampoule of sodium chloride solution

Composition:

Each vial contains Omeprazole 40mg

Indications:

Treatment and prevention of duodenal ulcers, gastric ulcer, In combination with antibiotics, H. pylori eradication in peptic ulcer disease, treatment of reflux oesophagitis, GERD, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Dosage:

In patients where the use of oral medicinal products is inappropriate, Omeprazole IV 40mg once daily is recommended. In patients with Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: 60mg daily. When doses exceed 60 mg daily, the dose should be divided and given twice daily.

Side Effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The common side effects associated are headache, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea, skin rash and dizziness
