For the third consecutive year, Shalina Healthcare Zambia, in partnership with the Resident Doctors Association of Zambia (RDAZ), celebrated emerging medical talent through the Shalina Rising Stars Programโreaffirming our commitment to nurturing Zambiaโs healthcare community.
This year, 54 resident doctors from 22 institutions submitted compelling clinical case studies. After rigorous evaluation, 15 finalists presented innovative solutions to complex health challengesโfrom maternal health to advanced medical casesโshowcasing the depth of Zambiaโs next-generation medical leaders.

Dr. Jonthn Sitali, Registrar at Zambia College of Medicine (ZACOM), praised all finalists as โstars in their own right,โ while Dr. Kennedy Lishimpi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, encouraged them to keep innovating and thinking critically.
