𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬: 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬

For the third consecutive year, Shalina Healthcare Zambia, in partnership with the Resident Doctors Association of Zambia (RDAZ), celebrated emerging medical talent through the Shalina Rising Stars Program—reaffirming our commitment to nurturing Zambia’s healthcare community.

This year, 54 resident doctors from 22 institutions submitted compelling clinical case studies. After rigorous evaluation, 15 finalists presented innovative solutions to complex health challenges—from maternal health to advanced medical cases—showcasing the depth of Zambia’s next-generation medical leaders.

Dr. Jonthn Sitali, Registrar at Zambia College of Medicine (ZACOM), praised all finalists as “stars in their own right,” while Dr. Kennedy Lishimpi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, encouraged them to keep innovating and thinking critically.

By bringing together the Resident Doctors Association of Zambia, Zambia Medical Association, National Health Research Authority, and Shalina Healthcare leadership, this program reflects our consistent, serious commitment to nurturing talent and strengthening Zambia’s healthcare community.
