Teleshal is a medicine used to treat a condition called hypertension or high blood pressure. It contains a drug called Telmisartan that helps to lower elevated blood pressure.

3 X 10 Tablets

Composition:

Teleshal 20mg: Each uncoated tablet contains Telmisartan USP 20mg
Teleshal 40mg: Each uncoated tablet contains Telmisartan USP 40mg
Teleshal 80mg: Each uncoated tablet contains Telmisartan USP 80mg

Indications:

Hypertension: Treatment of essential hypertension in adults
Cardiovascular prevention

Reduction of cardiovascular morbidity in adults with:

– Manifest atherothrombotic cardiovascular disease (history of coronary heart disease, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease).

– Type 2 diabetes mellitus with documented target organ damage.

Dosage:

Treatment of essential hypertension: The usually effective dose is 40mg once daily. Some patients may already benefit at a daily dose of 20mg. In cases where the target blood pressure is not achieved, the dose of Teleshal can be increased to a maximum of 80mg once daily
Cardiovascular prevention: The recommended dose is 80mg once daily. It is not known whether doses lower than 80mg of Teleshal are effective in reducing cardiovascular morbidity
