Ibuprofen: Inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins in body tissues by inhibiting at least 2 cyclo-oxygenase (COX) isoenzymes, COX-1 and COX-2. May inhibit chemotaxis, alter lymphocyte activity, decrease proinflammatory cytokine activity, and inhibit neutrophil aggregation; these effects may contribute to anti-inflammatory activity. Paracetamol: exhibits analgesic action by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation. It produces antipyresis by inhibiting the hypothalamic heatregulating centre. Its weak anti-inflammatory activity is related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS. Caffeine: promotes cAMP accumulation by inhibiting phosphodiesterase; increases medullary respiratory center sensitivity to carbon dioxide; may prevent apnea by acting as an adenosine receptor antagonist.

Dyspepsia, heart burn, GI bleeding, rash, asthmatic attacks, thrombocytopenia, drug induced ulcer, drowsiness, hepatic necrosis, renal papillary necrosis, vision disturbances & disorientation; rarely nausea & vomiting can occur. Insomnia, restlessness, nervousness and mild delirium.
