Polygel Suspension 200ml was launched in Ghana and Nigeria in December 2012. This antacid adds to our existing portfolio of Gastro-Intestinal products. Continuous medical education programmes, in-shop promotion activities at key wholesalers and retailer meets were undertaken to generate product demand. A taste campaign was also launched to highlight the appealing taste and thickness of the product vs the competition.
Shaltoux Cough lozenges were also launched across all our markets, to respond to growing needs in the respiratory category. Customers appreciate the natural ingredients of Shaltoux Lozenges, which include ginger and turmeric to soothe and reduce inflammation of the mucosa of the respiratory tract.
