Shalina Healthcare organized an international symposium on ‘Pain Management’ in Democratic Republic of Congo on 20th August. The keynote speaker for the event was Professor K. D. Rainsford, who is Emeritus Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University (UK). Other panel speakers included Professors of Medical school in University of Kinshasa.
As well as giving an overview on pain management, the conference focused on the clinical efficiency and selection of appropriate NSAID in general practice. During the conference, speakers discussed clinical studies confirming the efficiency of NSAID in different types of pain and the safety of different NSAID when taken at the right dosage.
The Conference was attended by more than 600 doctors who congratulated Shalina for the first event of this magnitude in Democratic Republic Congo.
