Shalina started its operations in Ghana in July 2001.
We started with an import and re-export hub in Tema
Free Trade Zone to service the nearby markets, and
a marketing office to promote our products to the doctors
in Accra.
Today Shalina Pharmacy is ranked as one of the top
10 pharmaceutical companies in Ghana and by 2011 we
have plans to be one of the top 3 companies in Ghana.
The company employees a total of 40 staff covering
the five main regions in the country. Shalina has also
expanded its distribution network by opened up operations
in Kumasi and Tamale.
Shalina has already acquired 5.3 acres of land to
set up a world class manufacturing facility in Ghana.
The primary feasibility study is over and layout of
the plant is currently underway. The target is to start
full scale commercial production by 3rd quarter 2009.

based in Tema Free Trade Zone. From this location Shalina
Ghana exports a wide range of Shalina branded pharmaceutical
formulations to nearby countries. |
