Shalina Pharmacy in Bangui, the capital of Central African
Republic, is the newest branch in Shalina's ever expanding
network of pharmaceutical depots. It represents the fifth
country in Africa in which Shalina has made a direct foray
into the market.
The branch was inaugurated on 27th February 2008 under
the auspices of Prime Minister Faustine Theodore who gave
Shalina the honor of cutting the ribbon to signify the
commencement of operations. At the opening ceremony speeches
were given by the Minister of Health Faustine Ntelnoumbi,
and by Shalina's pharmacist Dr Joseph Grembo, and also
the Mayor of Bangui City Mme Jama. The event was also graced
with the presence of many members of parliament and ambassadors
of several countries.
Shalina aims to expand it reach and presence throughout
the country by building on its core values of delivering
low cost medicines at affordable prices for the masses.
Shalina will ethically promote its products to the doctors
and pharmacists in the country. To achieve this Shalina
has a dynamic team of 23 people.
