Shalina started operations in Angola in 1999 and today has grown to be the leader in healthcare and personal care products in the country.
In January 2001, Shalina opened their first dedicated
wholesale distribution centre in the Cacuacao area of Luanda.
Today that area is now known as the centre for pharmaceutical
wholesalers due to Shalina’s presence. In October 2005
Shalina opened a second shop in the Palanca area with the
aim to improve and increase its distribution capabilities
in Luanda.
In May 2008, true to our philosophy of being close to our
customers, Shalina has opened in the city of Lobito. In
the future, Shalina has plans to increase its geographic
reach by opening more distribution centres around the country.
Shalina has plans for setting up a manufacturing facility
in Angola in the near future.
